Quest 1 decided to take Greg the Rabbit to visit the butchers. Interestingly I decided it took about one minute before folk asked to get involved would start to play. But frankly, the Butcher was amazing. In a flash of an eyeball he had the kids entranced with sides of lamb, pigs heads and a huge bit of beef and glinting sharp knives. Rabbit looked a bit pale when faced with a huge flashing cleaver. It all got very theatrical, and a eyeball was gouged out of the pigs head and thrown against the nicely washed tiles. There was total impressive silence.

Of course, THE BIG QUESTION IS...will anyone have spotted strange goings on around Westbury and beyond, and will anyone care? What was the point of it all? Oh yes, engagement. Focus and inspire the students, develop community links and awareness of the real world. Lets face it, when moi the artist is gone and the dust has settled, will the boys still be inspired? Will the mystery of it all become a myth? We have talked possible ways of sharing the story, including press exposure, but frankly when is the time to let the media loose on them. When asked which was the favourite documentary photograph the Quest 1 lads all voted No.1 the butchery scene.

"I think it is really sad", said Dan, a grown up vegetarian visitor to the new blog site looking at Gregory laying on a bloody meat block, under the nice butcher's knife..."...oh dear, surely rabbit will never, ever, have a chance to become truly real?"
